I was reading some stuff off the Internet when I stumbled across this interesting DIY antenna and some suggestions on how to improve your wifi signal. It involves ordinary tin can from your fave soda, a program called Net Stumbler, a one sided cutter, scissors and some glue stick, tape or anything sticky... Well at first I must admit that I was quiet hesitant  to do this because of the materials, right? I mean who would've thought that you can use these ordinary materials to boost your wifi signal.. BUT I WAS WRONG... I WAS DEAD WRONG!

First thing first take some signal reading on the part of your house that you usually get weak signals. You can use Net Stumbler or any other program that does the same thing.

Next cut the tin can vertically using the one sided cutter and scissors make sure that it's equal and remove the buttom part of it so that you will have something that'll resemble a letter C. After that tape all the sharp edges so that you won't get cut and lastly glue them together and place it behind your router's antenna pointing to the direction that you want the signal to go. And after doing all of those use Net Stumbler again and do some reading on the same spot where you took the first one and see if the signal strenght changes... It should, I had like 20 to 30 percent increase in signal strenght..
